🧩 Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM, Now Assist, and OpenAI integrations. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable ServiceNow solutions while collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications & modules
Strong hands-on experience in ITSM (mandatory)
Experience with CSM (optional but preferred)
Build enhancements using ServiceNow Studio, App Engine, and modern development practices
Now Assist & AI Integration (Must-Have)
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Now Assist
Knowledge of OpenAI integration with ServiceNow ITSM
Implement AI-driven automation, insights, and intelligent workflows
Platform Configuration & Scripting
Configure and manage:
Workflows
UI Policies
Business Rules
UI Actions
Strong scripting skills in client-side & server-side JavaScript, including:
Script Includes
UI Scripts
Business Rules
OpenAI integration scripts
Integration & Automation
Integrate ServiceNow with:
LDAP
Active Directory
Third-party tools
External ITSM platforms
Build and manage integrations using REST / SOAP APIs & Web Services
Support, Security & Performance
Provide platform support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Ensure high availability, performance optimization & security best practices
Maintain compliance with organizational standards
Documentation & Collaboration
Create and maintain technical documentation for:
Applications
Workflows
Integrations
Participate in knowledge transfer
Mentor junior developers when required
Demonstrate readiness to learn new tools & technologies
⭐ Good-to-Have Skills
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, modern web technologies
ServiceNow App Engine
Exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB
Strong understanding of ITIL processes
Experience with Update Sets & version control
Exposure to ServiceNow administration & platform setup
